Module 1 Details: Letting Go of the Past

Designed for ages 50+, this module uses gentle meditation, breathwork, and energy practices to reduce stress, reconnect with body and spirit, awaken intuitive clarity, and foster inner connection over 14 days.

Day 1: Welcome & Assessment

Arrive in the late afternoon for a 45-minute opening circle to meet facilitators and journal on questions like “What brought me here?” and “What do I want to let go of?” Follow with a 20-minute seated body scan and diaphragmatic breathing, and close with a 15-minute candle blessing ritual, sharing one word like clarity or hope.

Daily Practice

Morning Flow (60 min): Begin with a 5-minute arrival ritual (bell or essential oil), followed by 10 minutes of seated breathwork (diaphragmatic, box, or ocean breath), 15 minutes of guided visualization, 15 minutes of gentle movements like shoulder rotations or standing sways, 10 minutes of sound activation (toning like OM), and 5 minutes to share a closing word. Evening Practice (30–40 min): Includes 10 minutes of stillness meditation, 5 minutes of body gratitude (“Thank you heart…”), 10 minutes of mantra or whisper prayer, and optional candle gazing or star reflection. Practices adapt for limited mobility, emotional sensitivity, or spiritual openness, using tools like chairs, breathwork cards, essential oils, journals, candles, and ambient music. Day 2: Releasing the Emotional Dust

Spend 1.5 hours in the morning with gratitude, gentle movement, breath alignment, a “Washing the Window of the Heart” visualization, a candle blessing naming fears, and silent mantra reflection. Take a 30-minute mid-morning walk with herbal tea, discussing what silence revealed. Engage in a 75-minute psychotherapy activity, “Emotional Timeline Mapping,” where you draw a timeline of emotional highs and lows, share in pairs, and affirm, “I honor all my seasons.” Optionally, end with a 15-minute aroma ritual using frankincense or lavender. Mid-morning, join a 60–75 minute “Grief Garden Ritual” outdoors, naming grief, lighting candles, and adding salt to water for shared healing. In a 75–90 minute session, write letters for “I Never Said Goodbye” to address unspoken grief, share in small groups, and complete with an embodied exercise. Yoga, Massage, and Nutrition

Day 1: Gentle grounding yoga with hip release and alternate nostril breathing, 15-minute foot and shoulder massage, and simple meals with tropical fruits and lemongrass tea. Day 2: Release-focused yoga with shoulder openers, lower back massage, and grains with blue vervain tea. Day 3: Heart-opening yoga with fish pose, chest massage with rose oil, and beets with hibiscus tea. Day 4: Yin yoga for emotional unwinding, craniosacral therapy, and root veggie stew with chamomile tea.
